Neues Buch erschienen: A Simple Guide to the Monetary System
Am Wochenende ist das Buch „Modern Money Theory: A Simple Guide to the Monetary System“ bei Springer erschienen. In englischer Sprache wird das Geldsystem der USA anschaulich und ohne Rückgriff auf Bilanzen oder Formeln erklärt. Das Buch ist in der Reihe „Professional Practice in Governance and Public Organizations“ erschienen.
Das Buch kann von deutschen Universitäten, die einen Lizenzvertrag mit Springer haben, hier heruntergeladen werden. Das Buch ist eine deutlich erweiterte und auf den US-Dollar fokussierte Übersetzung meiner Einführung in die MMT, die ebenfalls bei Springer erschien. Wer eine Beschreibung der Geldschöpfung von Banken, Zentralbanken und Regierungen in Deutschland bzw. der Eurozone sucht, dem seien mein Lehrbuch „Makroökonomik“ und das Buch „Geld und Kredit: Eine €-päische Perspektive“ empfohlen.
